Thanks.

Doesn't look like Parker or Bud are getting a lot of interest. No trades almost halfway through the draft, could be no takers at 11.

Peterson is a sure thing. Gordon isn't. And doubtful Gordon will ever be as good as Peterson.

You know who handled Peat for two sacks last year? Nate Orchard from Utah. I hope he ends up with the Vikings somehow in the later rounds.

Waynes has the size and speed combo you look for, fits the scheme and was a productive player at college. I'm all for it.
I think you were one of the ones that mentioned something similar about our former #7 player. How Brady, and some of the other great QBs wearnt considered the perfect QB when picked. Hopefully your comarison of Sherman is at least close this time.

Waynes was the HIGHEST rated CB in the entire draft and IMO and most all of the expert commentators on ESPN and the NFL channel was an excellent pick by the Vikes. I am totally happy with this selection

Is that the same Harlon Barnett who got turned around about a dozen different directions in that Barry Sanders highlight?

@GoesslingESPN: Spielman: We had a lot of activity, but we had Trae Waynes high on our board. Didn't feel trade value was there. #MINPick

Not saying you said anything about Ponder.

However, if you truly joined in March of 2011 you were here when Ponder was drafted. :) Just a joke.

@GoesslingESPN: Spielman: Waynes' ability to play man coverage fits exactly what we're looking for with corners in this scheme. #MINPick
