But Ponder has to be willing to try a few hits down the field *and* be competent enough throwing to actually hit wide open guys.

He's not doing either.

Well I knew the defense would have it's struggles / not be very good but for the offense to be this pathetic and anemic spells big big trouble. We'll see if they change anything going into the 2nd half, that should tell us a lot.

2 major mistakes by the ref's. that was offsides not illegal procedure. player was beyond the 35 on the kickoff.

SOMETHINGS ARE JUST TO OBVIOUS not to be able to predict
You called it! I thought the Colts would kick! I underestimated how bad our defense is. Didn't think they'd get burned over top late in a half JUST LIKE LAST WEEK.

Now is the time for the Coaches to adjust and continue our history of 2nd half comebacks. Go Vikes!

We need a QB. With a QB the WR we have will look bettter. The running game will really open up. But with Ponder NONE of this will happen. What a waste of a 2th pick. We should have waited later and gotten Mallet. Ponder is so hit and miss (well all miss in this game) he looks like its his first game in college.

Boon wrote:It's not ponder. It's #### musgrave. Have they even attempted a pass of more than 15 yards? Or even ran a deep route? I can only sit here and think of a coach like cowher running the show, with the talent we have on offense. Our coaching has to go or waste the best years of our stars careers running 5-10 yard routes
Ponder has been handcuffed by the playcalling. Blame someone else.

Kind of. At least we get to see a competent offensive line and QB to start the half.

Zero catches for the TE's today in Musgraves two tight end super offense! I just don't get this guy? Why does he completely ignore his own offensive philosophy?

This game shows how meaningless a stat of completing 75% of passes on early downs really is. At some point, a team has to risk a long pass.

What? You watching the game? Hes not even close ona throw more then 1 foot. And Mustgrave doesnt trust him enough to let him throw any more. Just the dump offs to PH.
