If he ends up better than Jay Cutler, I will eat my socks.

Actually, nothing would make me eat my own socks. I have nuclear grade foot stank. The point stands, though.

Winston is going to have to learn a lot.. he had a lot of trouble with snaps

His delivery seems slow and he looks down the receiver he is going to throw too.

The most impressive thing he tonight was the running touchdown. I don't think our first defense
would have let him score..

His arm is massive. Back footed pretty much a 65+ yard pass. Gonna take more than a big arm to make it though, he does have a lot to learn. Reminds me a lot of josh freeman with his overthrowing. Cam has the same issue but he throws harder so his passes are hard to pick off lol. He's also a lot more accurate

Teddy look so poised and solid. His passes seem to have a lot more zip, maybe it's just me. Maybe its the added strength training.

I thought Winston made some great throws. Yeah, he made a lot of rookie mistakes, but he also made plays that none of our QBs can make. Definitely thinking pass first which was a good sign IMO. Give him a running game and some weapons and I think he's going to be really good.

Winston will be fine. HE isn't going to make the Bucs a Super Bowl team his first season, but he got much better as the game wore on.
Teddy looks scary good so far. I really hope he continues this in the regular season.

Interesting stat line from last night. 14 different players caught passes from 3 QB's.

I don't think he will succeed primarily because of personality. I don't think he's likable and I don't think he's a leader. That's just my impression and it may well be shaped by a perception that doesn't correspond with reality.

Great watching the Vikings last night. Living only 40 minutes from Tampa, I was the only non Bucs fan in the house last night.
Vikings looked fast again. Even my Bucs fans were saying that.
Winston will be a good QB. I think of Steve McNair when I see him play. Should do OK.
But, we have a real steal with Teddy "ice water ", like that line. Kudos to whoever came up with that.
Also, Load Grader, really liked this one, looks like he's out but I dont think we're moving on forever from him, but never know. Clemmings is getting the call from Zimmer. He's a natural RT anyways. Probably will do OK.

Agree with everyone that says we will be as good as the OL allows. Defense will do well.

Good God man, has it even been two hours since he got hurt? And is he not one of the best RTs in the league? I realize that you are talking about spilt milk, but usually isn't that after at least a brief mourning period?
:D
I know I know. But what can you do? It's not like I'm coaching the Vikings or anything, but I try and have that same mindset that Zimmer has on it. It sucks, but can't change the result and it's time to move on and find the next man up. It's not a question of being happy what happened, but as a fan, I don't want to pack in my expectations because of this.

Ask me again if this ever happens to Teddy or AP this year and we'll see if I'm singing the same tune.

He seems to have poise. Doesn't seem all that rattled after making mistakes, which is a great quality to have in a quarterback. He comes off as cocky (not necessarily a bad thing either) and it looked to me like he thought he'd come in and light up the league, so some humility serves him well.

I believe he'll only get better from yesterday. I think the Bucs have a keeper.

I missed the second half. Anything or anyone stand out? Good and bad.

Kendricks looked great.

I thought all three of our QBs looked poised. Surprisingly so, give all of the "reports" from TC. (Further support for my position of not putting much stock in them)
Hill and Heineke were solid.

RB Dominique Williams looked really solid before he fumbled at the goal line. Very strong runner.

Diggs had a nice catch and run, a nice return and other nice routes on which he didn't get the pass. Overall solid.

Good info. Thanks.

I like the potential of Kendrics a lot.

With the QB situation, I hope they roll with Heineke as the #3 and let Kafka go. We basically know what Kafka is, but with Heineke there's still a lot of unkown and upside to be discovered there.

Diggs seems like he can be a pretty special player.
