Notes from Tuesday's practice

That's very encouraging. I'd love to see Rhodes start pulling down more INTs this season. That would be a welcome step in his development.

Some info on Floyd:
He's been out since Aug. 6 with an injured left knee that has been a nagging problem since last year.

he had surgery in October to remove cartilage from the knee. He started camp fine, but obviously a setback occurred

That is unfortunate, not so much because he is just so great and irreplaceable but because he is missing out on more time to develop in the superstar that he is capable of becoming. Its hard to get to concerned when you have Tom Johnson as a back up and Joseph is still in there.

Bears cornerback Kyle Fuller out indefinitely after knee surgery bit.ly/2bCwkFD #NFL #Bears
Bad news for the Bears. Good news for the Vikings. Fuller has gotten the better of Teddy on more than one occasion

According to two league sources, Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater was held out with a sore shoulder on Thursday night. Had it been a regular season game, Bridgewater likely would have played, but coach Mike Zimmer made a late decision to hold Bridgewater out and start Shaun Hill, who went 10 of 17 for 129 yards in the team's win over Seattle.

I'm sure it is. Teddy practiced all week. None of the best guys said a lick about anything looking off or scaling back of his reps. Unless he slipped and cut his finger on a pair of scissors or something. But nobody with any competence/dexterity does that after 8 years old.

I was thinking they wanted to see how Hill would do against the ones as a Vikings backup.

We'll see if Zimmer's truth-stretching has rubbed off. Kendricks said the same.
Xavier Rhodes told me his injury not serious

Boone had a personal situation and Hill had a "vet day"
Teddy Bridgewater did participate in practice today but did not throw a single pass, which is kind of important. Shaun Hill was not spotted.

Brandon Fusco and Jarius Wright returned to practice. Fusco at RG. Floyd, Kendricks were suited up and limited, which is a good sign.

Could be a lot of minor things: Impingement, muscular strain, or a bursa.

He'll be fine. It will be wise to limit his throwing in the meantime.
