VikingPaul73 wrote: Sat Apr 27, 2019 12:29 pm OK - I guess I just misinterpreted your post then. Sounded like you were saying that having the draft capital to trade up and land Samia validated all of the wheeling and dealing Rick did yesterday. Apologies if that wasn't your intent

No complaints with the pick.....for those more informed, will this guy fit Kubiak zone scheme? From the highlights he looked more like a big mauler type of guard rather than an athletic guy??
He is more of a quick, lateral guy with great footwork and agility imo. He needs to bulk up a bit just like Bradbury but they can move and fit Kubiak's scheme to a T.
good to hear!!!
Definitely looks like Kubiak had a lot of influence on the draft, at least so far

I wonder if Zimmer is angry  Not only did he not get a CB in 4 rounds but not a single D player! Wow!!
And our D is getting up there too! Looks like they're hoping for a 1 year window in 2020 - get these OL up to speed and learn the system in 2019, and 2020 in Cousins' last year hope the D is still young enough and OL is old enough to contend
Griffen -31
Harry - 30
Joseph - 30
Rhodes - 29 in June.

I went back and read a report from the Daily Norseman from 2017 that said that roughly 68% of drafted NFL players over the last 20 years have been considered busts.

That is highly subjective though... And not really fair. I'd be curious to read that article.

Interesting. Did it have a breakdown by round or just the overall number?

I guess I somewhat get it; We have no money, so Rick is going to take a dozen or so 7th rounders and hope one sticks. Cheap player.

Cameron Smith: Apparently more of a run stuffer. Instinctive but don't ask him to cover in space.

Chat is being wonky again. On both Mobile, and Desktop. I've only tried Chrome.

Edit:
Tried Microsoft Edge too, same thing "Internal Error" every refresh, or if I try to post in chat.

His coverage grade was in the 80s according to PFF. He actually had quite a few INTs too. 4 in his career

Udoh is very slow and at one point was 380 pounds. He does have long arms though.
