Would have much rather seen an offensive linemen.
Yes. I think it's a good pickup by us especially with Sendejo sucking. There were a lot of good things on Rotoworld regarding Vereen when he was in Chicago. It would be nice if we could get something out of him
The saddest thing in life is wasted talent and the choices you make will shape your life forever.

He was mostly a CB with the Gophers; only played part of his last year at safety. I thought he was an above average DB with the Gophers. He's better in coverage than he is in run support. I was sort of surprised he was drafted as a safety as he's a tad undersized and not really what I would view as a physical player.
John Fox is a pretty good evaluator of defensive talent. Maybe he didn't fit their scheme. Seems like they're having a fire sale in Chicago this year and clearing out players from the prior regime. Whatever the reason his game film couldn't have been that good since he cleared waivers after being drafted in the 4th round last year.
As a Gopher fan I want him to succeed but I think he is going to struggle to find a role in the NFL. His best chance with the Vikings is probably a backup for Smith or as an extra DB in the sub packages. I don't see him challenging Sendejo or Exum at SS.
“I think my personality and work ethic will help me to become [the] next WWE Superstar,” Aiyegbusi said. “I always loved to watch wrestling; now I will have the opportunity to enjoy being [in] the ring.”
Before then he will finish training and, of course, hopes to find his new WWE nickname. Since he probably won’t go by “Babs,” the 27-year-old said he’s currently taking suggestions.
“I don’t have any ideas yet, but I’m sure it’s going to be bad ####.”

The Vikings also made some other practice squad moves. They brought back fullback Blake Renaud, an undrafted free agent out of Boise State who spent the preseason with Minnesota. They also brought in a new face in former Washington Redskins' linebacker Terrance Plummer. Plummer
