@mattvensel Source confirms that the preliminary diagnosis for Loadholt is a torn Achilles. Tough break for the #Vikings and even more so for Big Phil.

Was just going to post this, or maybe long or Sam baker at T? Rick will be on the phone if he isn't already.dead_poet wrote:Evan Mathis at guard?

This could be positive for a number of reasons. Puts Harris/Fusco at their native positions and frees Berger up to be backup extraordinaire again.S197 wrote: Was just going to post this, or maybe long or Sam baker at T? Rick will be on the phone if he isn't already.

That was an easy one for me. Big Cat with a wide load and running over defenses like a hump in the road that needs leveled! BAM!DK Sweets wrote:How have I never heard that one before? Gonna have to remember that one.
But now, I am dejected for dude. Achilles injury is no joke.
Speaking of nicks, I am not sure why Teddy "IceWater" hasn't caught on yet. I keep seeing comments on how smooth and cool he is and poised in the pocket, on and on. IceWater seems appropriate.

Don't hate on my Buckeyes. Some of the best Vikings went to Ohio State.

Nice route by Diggs. Pass just a little too high.
Diggs looks too Good to keep on the sideline.

First off, I agree with you. But then again, who hasn't looked good tonight? Jarius, Patterson, and Thielen have all had nice plays tonight, too.808vikingsfan wrote:Nice route by Diggs. Pass just a little too high.

I hope that someone can at least fill in modestly.

I couldn't agree more. He is still a decent CB (personally I prefer him over Captain). He's good on ST and I still want him as a PR. Diggs is good, but I have a feeling he's going to be real busy as a WR in a year or 2. I hate the thought of losing Theilen and/or Sherels.DK Sweets wrote:Sherels is just so consistent. He's going to be hard to kick off the roster.

I honestly hadn't considered it until now, but you bring up a good point. I could easily see Captain being dropped for Sherels at this point.PurpleKoolaid wrote: I couldn't agree more. Such bad news for Phil. He was a good RT, although i was so rough on him during some pass protection plays. Makes me feel bad, because he tried hard. We will have to find another RT, even with our roster. Phil as a starter was a givene.
On a positive note, I'm loving Tom Johnson. Hes a starter on almost any other team.
Im still wondering why Banyard is still on the roster the past few years.
