Slightly misspoke on Jared Allen (neck). He might participate on limited basis today. Frazier's "fingers crossed" Erin Henderson back tmrw.
Frazier on if Kyle Rudolph has contusion: "Yeah, he’s just a little sore. So, give him a day here, see how he feels (Thursday)."
Frazier on Jarius Wright (ankle): "There were some things we saw in practice (last week) that said, ‘Ah, give him a little bit more time.’ "

Interesting. I think a lot of people thought they'd waive Burton.

UPDATE 6:13 p.m. ET: According to Judd Zulgad of 1500ESPN.com, Ponder had “tension in his neck,” but is expected to start Sunday.

Thanks, that's a relief.

Definitely wasn't from looking over his shoulder.
Maybe watching defenders run his passes back the other way?
*sigh* Just doesn't feel the same so far this season.

Vikings LB Erin Henderson (concussion) not practicing again. Guessing he will be ruled out.

Only other player not practicing is Mistral Raymond (ankle). He won't play Sunday. Sendejo returned. Ponder, Rudolph practicing too.

Curious.
Vikings are working out 3 DBs right now and I'm pretty sure one of them is, yes, Tyrell Johnson.
Yep, it's Tyrell. Just talked to him. Said hamstring is good. Had workout with #Lions recently. Waiting for an opportunity.
#Vikings also worked out former #Texans and #Dolphins safety Troy Nolan and former #Bucs safety Larry Asante.
Seems like a list built for if they have another injury. Leslie Frazier came in and gave Tyrell Johnson a big hug in locker room.

Cannot believe Johnson got a tryout here. Man...he was a bum.
Is anyone nervous about Henderson being out? Mitchell is no stud but I guess I didn't miss Erin Henderson on Sunday...
Pull yr 84 jerseys out.

Coaches seem to always prefer the incompetent guy they know over the possibly competent guy they don't.

If only the coaches new half as much as some fans think they know there would be no stopping them
