Sebathia threw junk pitch after junk pitch, and the Twins went for them time and time again. Balls in the dirt were swung at. Everyone wants to be the hero, and that hurt plate discipline. They should watch film of Wade Boggs, Don Mattingly, and Rod Carew at bats.

It also doesn't help that our bullpen is held together with masking tape.

Did you all listen to the TBS announcers talking about how New York has expectations of winning the World Series because they paid so much money for free agents in the off-season. They say it as a matter of fact, like the Yankees deserve it just because they paid more for players.

Well, we had a chance to come back tied 1-1. Nathan blew it. Again. How pathetic. I think the Twins are starstruck or something when they play the Yankees. I think the Twins are the only team that believes the hype of the Yankees in the postseason. The last like 6 years, only the Twins have lost series to them.

New York Yankees $ 201,449,189

Minnesota Twins $ 65,299,266

That's a lot of hype up and down the Yankees line-up.

Reports are that the Twins made Johan Santana one one the largest deals for a pitcher in the history of MLB, but he knew that he could get more from New York, Boston, or L.A. teams. Santana forced the trade which had pretty poor returns for the Twins.

The Twins wanted Hunter, but they couldn't even come close to the contract that the Los Angeles Angels gave Hunter.

Losing Hunter forced the trade of Matt Garza and Jason Bartlett for Delmon Young and Brendan Harris.

Hunter, Garza, Bartlett, and Santana would make the Twins much better. It all came down to cash.

The Twins had their chance. They aren't going to beat the Yankees in extra innings. Especially in NY.

I HATE that damn stadium. Reminds me of Jones silly #### thing. All that money and still hit home runs with half effort.

They need review in MLB, you can't see where that damn ball hit the dirt you idiot?

Seriously, that's so damn stupid. The ump should have pulled his head out of his ####, walked forward 5 steps, and easily looked down and saw where the ball landed. Disgusting.

Not only that, Damon was in play when he touched the ball. The ump had two chances to get it right.

Hopefully, it will not cost the Twins a run, but ....

Should be a run in already.
