Although, I am still wondering when the NFL will re-visit his punishment like the Court ordered it to do.

They appealed the ruling so I guess they will get around to figuring out what to do next when the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals reviews the case. i don't think that's supposed to happen until October.Raptorman wrote:Although, I am still wondering when the NFL will re-visit his punishment like the Court ordered it to do.
Ever? Thats impressive!Cliff wrote:If anybody is curious, this is our second most posted in topic. The first being the stadium thread.
I think that it speaks to the growth of the board. I know that I lurked for about 5 years before I joined, so I know there are people watching. It's nice to see so many of us posting, even with the loss of some members after the board went down last year.PurpleMustReign wrote: Ever? Thats impressive!

I think "Operation: Rebuild Peterson's Public Image" is starting now.Pseudo Everything wrote:Vikings have scheduled a press conference with Zimmer and Peterson today at 2:30. I suppose they almost have to do this given all the controversy but I sort of wish they would skip it.

#Vikings annual playground build is tomorrow. If Adrian Peterson shows, good chance to present new image of him back in the community.
@christomasson Adrian's dad says Vikings made no promises to son “Vikings say he has a contract & he can play for us or nobody So we’re going to play ball"
@christomasson Adrian Peterson's dad: "Adrian is his own man and he makes his own decisions. He came in on his own.''
@christomasson Adrian Peterson dad Nelson says layoff won't matter: "He’s the best. He was born great. So he’s ready to go. He never gets out of shape.''
http://blogs.twincities.com/vikings/201 ... love-game/@CharlesRobinson Adrian Peterson respects Zimmer immensely. I think when Zimmer said the "us or nobody" thing, it really hit home.
@AlbertBreer I've said this on the air a few times: Bottom line is getting Adrian Peterson back in the building was, end-to-end, a Mike Zimmer operation.
@AlbertBreer Zimmer kept the lines of communication open with Peterson going all the way back to September. Thru the exempt list. Thru the suspension.
@AlbertBreer There was acrimony between Peterson and Vikings officials, namely COO Kevin Warren. Zimmer was able to maintain trust/respect thru all that.
