Probably true, especially regarding Sully. There was a huge gap between C and RG, but they filled it better than we did.
I haven't watched the game again, but saw a lot of Shazier today on that play. Harris was at RG I believe. There was a HUGE hole and Shazier beat the FB to the hole and blew up the play before it got started. It looked like an ISO and the FB just never got there.
I could be very wrong, but that's what I thought I saw. AD would not have gotten through that mess. Now, he could have bounced it out, but with 11 stacked in the box, would have been stuffed. Something that needs to be improved.
I was watching Kalil as often as possible and it looked to me as if he was playing a very strong aggressive game. He will be better than good this year IMO

I don't know if it was his first play, but it seemed like his opening statement and I like what I see. 3) McKinnon had some nice runs. 4) Overall, the D looked deeper and pretty polished. Granted, it was against Landry Jones.
5. Kalill didn't look horribly overwhelmed. Hopefully he gets some confidence going.
Diggs was in for a return prior to the one he broke but he called a fair catch. With a LOT of room. He was pretty upset with himself but we saw the redemption. I'd still like to see how he does catching in traffic.
“Part of the thing, what I wanted to do, was not take him out. I wanted to find out what kind of toughness he had when things happen like that. When you get a couple of penalties on you, how are you going to fight back, how are you going to respond?”
“I thought he did a nice job with those things, but he’s just got to learn some of the technical things about the NFL. Athletically, and the type of kid he is, he’s going to be fine.”
.@Vikings Waynes has struggled playing "off" tonight, but I like his footwork & "shadow" technique in bump.. Very comfortable at LOS
I enjoyed their showing over all....but I was REALLY hoping to she the Polish Behemoth get some time on the field.....he must be really raw if they wont let him in during the4th quarter.

Reports are he was in the game during the victory formation. Didn't let a single guy by him. Perfect rating by PFF.
