No surprise that the Vikings aren't attacking the Free Agency. When do we ever? It seems like only guys we usually sign are "depth" guys. Every now and then we get desperate at a position then we go get an aging Brett Favre or a 30 yr old Greg Jennings.

Do you ever let up? All you had to do was breeze by my comment and ignore it but instead you went off like a cantankerous time bomb. You gripe your way through the board, sometimes swearing like you did above, on an almost daily basis. Sometimes, it's like having our own VMB rain cloud.

By the way, I didn't bring the subject up. Saint33 did and I just responded to his point. Since we're now in the thick of the offseason, Cassel has been re-signed, Gabbert was just traded and the draft is coming, the possibility that Ponder has trade value is actually relevant. It might even come up again! *gasp*

I wasn't "defending his honor". I was saying he has trade value because I think he does and I think the Gabbert trade reinforces that. Again, I didn't bring the subject up and if you disagreed with the point I made, you could have simply ignored the post or made an intelligent counterpoint to explain your view. Instead, you posted an inappropriate, offensive response. Not cool...

Kinda surprising on both of those. According to PFT, Verner's deal with TB is 4 years @ 26mil, 14 mil guaranteed. Seems reasonable considering how much interest there was in him around the league. You also gotta think the Saints maybe got a decent deal on Byrd as well, considering the cap problems they've been dealing with.

So if the Vikes are still looking to land a CB, who is left? Captain Munnerlyn? Revis once he's cut?
