I own both jerseys... One is the old school one I got when we signed Antoine. Harvin's is from his rookie season and one of the new Nike jerseys... I wish Percy success in Seattle and that's starting to look like a pretty formidable team over there, but I just don't see him reaching his full potential there. He wasn't going to here, either. Very few teams would be able to fully utilize him and turn him into a mega-star. The Patriots are the obvious example as well as other teams that have elite QBs. I guess I just haven't seen enough from Pete Carroll and Russell Wilson to think they can do the same.
Somewhere there's a Vikings fan who owns two jerseys: Winfield and Harvin. He's having a bad day.

Another $11 million is guaranteed for injury, but this is a smaller deal than Harvin was probably expecting. It's actually worth just slightly less than Dwayne Bowe's in annual average, making Harvin -- for now -- the NFL's fifth highest paid receiver behind Calvin Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald, Mike Wallace, and Bowe. And the low guaranteed total protects the Seahawks. Seattle gave up a draft-pick haul for Harvin, but this looks like a great deal for the club.

I doubt that Harvin had much say in where he ended up. There couldn't have been too many NFL teams willing to give the Vikings that kind of loot for his services. Once in Seattle, what's he going to do, hold out???
