Good too see Viking fans in the stands. Ponder has to get rid of the ball sooner. That fumble hurts.

Doh ! now the Ponder bashing can begin in earnest . Hey Musgrave how about a pass over 5 yards on first freaking down for a change so we arent third and long so much .

Do the Vikings even try to throw down the field?

I get wanting to establish the run. I get throwing the quick hitters to build confidence.

What I *don't* get is the unwillingness to uncork anything down the field seemingly ever.

That didn't even look like much of a strip.

No pocket presence. None. Zero. Zilch.

And that time he stayed in the pocket but you could visibly see him panicking and getting those happy feet.

So he takes the big sack, and can't even hold onto the ball to boot.

Embarrassing. What a future we have with him at the helm.

He's been coached not to force it... it's a double-edged sword letting him "let it fly". It sure would be nice if we could pass protect better, it's not like Freeney is in the game.

Same old vikes. Run on 1st and 2nd. Cant throw the ball downfield. And I will eat crow (Ponder sucks)

Purplemania wrote: The question wasn't who is the easiest to coach or nicest player. It's who's the best offensive player. Marshall is a big athletic and fast WR who can change defenses. Dez too. Percy will never be on Jennings level as far as WR skillset...hate to say it. And yes, Miles Austin is underrated. The guy plays a lot like Harvin when he has the ball, but he's bigger. You can disagree if you want, it's a free country.
Fair enough. Agree to disagree. Percy Harvin is a more versatile Wes Welker.

It will be interesting to watch the Coaches film on that 2nd down play, to see if any receivers were open. Ponder seems to check down and run on many pass plays. Go Vikes!

Run on 1st, Run on Second, throw for less than 5 yards, maybe even behind the line of scrimmage, possible fumble or interception.

What a great playbook the Vikings have had for the past 3 years. So successful.
