I think Norv runs it, Vikes 24-SD 21
I think Norv has learned his lesson. You don't run and over think.....we look terrible. You run.....and we look very good. I have a ton of confidence in our defense. They've looked pretty good in 2 weeks outside of vs the run week 1. Our pass defense has impressed me a lot. Rhodes, Newman and Cap have played well. Harrison is Harrison. Sendejo is the only one that scares me right now. Keep pounding and then run some play action and have Teddy sling it. We haven't stretched the field at all outside of the crap missed call on Wallace vs SF. I think you see Teddy open up the offense a little more too this game. We have to get SD to play that run hard and do what we're designed to do. Get 1 on 1 coverage on the outside due to AD and take advantage of it. I've yet to see that out of this offense and I know we can do it.

Also, one guy I've been very impressed with is Kyle Rudolph. I think he's been our most reliable pass catcher. I've always said when healthy, he's a top 10 TE in this league. He's leading the team in catches and targets and has been pretty reliable

3-4 defenses that can contain the edge typically give the Vikings fits. This isn't a great defense, but their focus is going to be on Adrian, so I wouldn't be surprised if he has a fairly low yardage total. Fortunately, that focus on Adrian should create opportunities (especially on play action) for Teddy to get the ball to our receivers. We don't have the tallest group in the league, but I still feel pretty good about our chances. I actually think this will be the game where Teddy shines and AD is the complement (which is weird to say, because I also think he will be what the offense revolves around)
I dont think its weird to say at all, AP is definitely the biggest weapon on your O but Teddy is good enough to take advantage, for sure.

AP should be licking his chops. Since the Vikings are pretty good in pass defense it should be a close game with it hinging on what Teddy and Co. can get done on their side of the ball.
Woodhead should be kept in check if we want to win.

The chargers offense scares me but so did the lions offense. This will be a good test for the LBs and secondary as i see alot of quick throws by rivers and cutback lanes for Gordon. I'm hoping the Vikings can manufacture a win but i think this team still needs a few more weeks to find its identity . Chargers grab an early lead and the Vikings run out of time to come back. Chargers win 34-27.

The Chargers scare me a lot more than Detroit did. SD has a better running game and Rivers is more consistent than Stafford. Last week I couldn't get comfortable until Lions missed the 2 point conversion. I thought it was a very sloppy and uneven performance by the Vikes. I'd like to see more 2 tight end sets until the O-line improves or Asiata and Petersen in the same backfield. Prediction: SD 24, Vikes 16 (Hope I'm way wrong!)

A couple bad plays doesn't make the guy not an All Pro though.

I just highlighted this play. I can show you 6 plays from the Bengals game..

And as for your team, Jordathan... I want to start a thread where I analyze your team and we can discuss the chinks in the armour

I watched the last Chargers game on NFL game pass. They look really, really strong on offense. I can see them putting up 30 on us. The question is whether the Vikings offense can match, or slow the game down enough to limit possessions (long drives eating lots of clock). I'm always a fan, but thinking this one maybe comes in at 30-21 (at least one missed FG) Chargers. Hoping I'm FOS!
