A HoF QB would have had an immense impact on his legacy....for sure. But that's a debate that is kinda worn out here.
I can't tell if you're being serious or not.....but if so, it's good to know Randy got under some Packer skin after all.
Dead serious. There was no reason for such a childish display of classlessness, but I guess nobody would tell you that Randy is a particularly rational sportsmanlike fellow.
It was just disgusting and unnessecary. And not only in Joe Bucks "That was a disgusting act" unsportsmanlike sense, but disgusting in an ew what a childlike vulgar gesture, that did nothing but reinforce the stigma related to him and his terrible attitude. I mean, really, who does that?
As to him getting under my skin, oh you have no clue. Randy, Culpepper, Thomas, Wiggins, Burleson, those guys were like the ultimate villians of my childhood, with Randy leading the charge.
You guys made/make a great villian, what with the whole purple clad, wearing horns thing.

I've always been under the impression that it stemmed from Packer fans mooning the Viking bus after games.....which to me is funny, in a Slapshot kind of way.

It's definitely much more fun when both teams are legit. I'm really wanting for that to be the case this year and for us to have a scary defense. That to me is the Viking M.O. that I grew up with.

I'm actually surprised people cared about this at all. I care much more about players getting DUI's
and acting like thugs in Grand Theft Auto, in real life.
It was a heat of the moment thing with a hated rival and the guy went almost undrafted in the first
round. If I was in that situation, I might do the same thing, maybe worse. I have seen GB players
have similar actions in games.

If players were give carta blanch to act as dumb as fans do, the cycle would be quite ridiculous, if Packers players ran around faux mooning and flipping off Vikings fans i doubt all of you would really appreciate it.
Whichever Packers fan did that was being rather childish in his own right, but Randy should have known better, and Randys situation was a bit different from some random NFL fan, it was classless and immature which ever way you slice it.
Your definitly right, division games are way more fun when it is competitive, though I think this rivalry really topped out in the 2009/2010 seasons, those two seasons were really something else, and i think the only thing that will ever propel us back to that level of intensity, would be an NFCCG between us, which i think will be a real possibility throughout these next few years.

No you havent.
Btw, what does him almost not being drafted in the first round have to do with anything?
EDIT: Sorry if i sound like an #### dude, not my intention, i remain very skeptical your post however.

That's just a defensive signal......a special blitz, I think.

Ok. Maybe it took a little longer. To be honest, couldn't find much.
This also came up.

Flipping off your buddies on your own sideline in jest is far different from scoring a td and making a vulgar gesture to opposing fans.

much ado
Randy rocked.
And how he's been there for this kid is something I would think most people in his position would not care to do.
After Harris had a dirty play previously(late out of bounds
hit I think) Peterson punks him and gets him on his back.
The Packers are better coached than a lot of teams; to think that they
don't have classless moments is incorrect, at best.

So if Hawk pretended to moon his teammates for fun, that would be ok? What makes you think Moss' act wasn't done as a joke? That's how i viewed it. In my opinion, flipping the bird is a much more vulgar and tasteless jesture than pretending to moon. I believe one is saying "Kiss my b###" and the other is saying "###k you."
