Yankey's definitely enigmatic in the sense you described above and yes, it is good to note how far off Mayock's take on him ended up being. I can't ever see Richardson playing guard. He's an offensive tackle through and through. If I'm not mistaken, tackles tend to be taller, better agility, more athletic, better feet, longer, and leaner. Tackles tend to be over 6'5 and weigh 290 to 330 (give or take). Tackles have to block the faster, albeit smaller DE and OLB so they tend to have good speed. Guards tend to be shorter than 6'4 and weigh 290 to 340. Less length in some cases stronger and more stout in some cases due having to block bigger defensive tackles. Some tackles get moved to guard because of foot speed and technique. I think it's that height difference that can be problematic for a tackle moving inside. I'm not saying it's impossible but Richardson is 6'6 336 lbs. I'm not sure if there is a guard in the NFL that is that big. He has no experience at guard and has always been a traditional LT. I can't see him randomly moving to guard. I would hope he could become healthy enough to be on the final 53 next year.
