1. I'm going to miss the Dome. I saw the wreckage last time I was in Minneapolis a few weeks ago for a Twins game, but it just hit me, that place was a part of my childhood, and teen years. I played football in the building in high school.! Oy. Oh well..

2. I wish I was going to the draft party! It sounds like a lot of fun.
Well, I'm sorry. :(

I went to the last game at the Dome, and we went out to eat after, and there was a lady in the bathroom saying the same thing...about the Dome being a part of her childhood and whatnot. It was sad. Now you're making ME sad. lol. Stop...

As far as going to the draft party, it's something that I've recently gotten into, but I think I'll go most years from now on. It's turning into a bit of a tradition. The last two years when I went up, we all went to a Twins game, as well. I don't even like baseball that much, but I loved going. It sucks that they moved the draft back, because I'm missing out on that, but I know tomorrow will be a blast. The Twins games were just a bonus. :D

...if someone was close enough, and cool enough, like I said, my friend has an extra Red Zone ticket. I'm sure he'd love to unload it!

I'd totally be down for that, but I have commencement on Saturday. What is the Red Zone, by the way?

It's basically a small, fenced-in VIP section. You have your own table with your group (and possibly others), unlimited food & drinks (well, only two alcoholic drinks are free from what I understand lol), player appearances, a bonus autograph (or two) from whoever the "surprise guest" is, because otherwise you pay to get in line for your other autographs. Those aren't available to anyone else. Two years ago, it was Eller and Webb, I think. Also, Peterson showed up. I would have been able to interact with him if I wasn't in line getting autographs from our Hall of Fame players. I'm still sad about that. :( Last year was Rudolph and Felton...I think.

To sum it up: It's just a special section with a few more amenities. Sure beats standing around for 5 hours! :D

Cool, Mel, I hope you meet Adrian, Flash or your guy Simpson. If the latter, ask him to do his first down celebration for you!

Patterson is gonna be here. Getting his autograph later. :-) Munnerlyn was my bonus autograph.

Leber doesn't want Bridgewater. I'm tired of listening to his lips right about now. :-)
