Good for Floyd. I like his work ethnic. Some players get lazy during the offseason. Glad he is not one of those players.

Being seeing a lot of praise lately for a coaching staff that hasn't coached a single game for us yet. Seems Zimmer and Turner are some kind of "coaching gods" everyone else in the NFL has missed out on. All seems a bit premature to me.

Sadly, as allday1991 pressed "submit" he burst into purple flames for questioning the greatness of the New Gods. He is now forced to continually watch Ponder throw incompletions to Bernard Berrian while Chris Cook "covers" in good position with his head facing the wrong way.

It IS premature but I have no problem with enthusiasm for the new coaching staff. It's just been tiresome to watch the obvious psychology at work as so many fans convinced themselves the old staff was the source of the team's woes and are now working hard to attribute perceived positives as the influence of the new staff. The desire to believe a change in coaches is going to solve the team's problems and make them into a serious contender is palpable.

Exactly... although let's hope they don't start 0-3.

Working hard, determination and getting in "better" shape will last a while! Giving up meat, yea, that has an expiration date! The cravings will punch him like a weak sister before long!

...wisdom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

These stories scare me. Reminds me of Williamson's Nike Vision camp and removed bar in the facemask. Or players putting in extra work at some camp. Clutching at straws?

You must understand how frustrating it has been to watch Childress try to lead this team and although I like Frazier a whole lot (not as a coach) he truly was not cut out to be a head coach. Point being that a whole lot of us fans look at the new staff in a most positive light. I am not sure that anyone is looking at them as gods, but we certainly have high hopes and expectations.

Hahaha. I was at that game this year. You could just hear the collective groan in the Metrodome when we all saw Chris Cook had screwed up yet again.

Seriously, did Frazier tell DBs to not go for the ball ever? Dear lord. Cook was so so so so so bad

That video of Cook is so representative of his play with us last year. He did that over and over. How on Earth did he not go after the ball? He turns and sees it and instead of attacking he just runs alongside Alshon. He almost looks like he's been paid off or something--not to start a conspiracy theory or anything. He just looks THAT absurdly incompetent.

If someone told me that he had severely injured rotator cuffs and could not raise his arms above his head I might understand this messed up tic of his.

the game vs Bengals was almost even sillier. I hope SF fans know he's awful and they should have begged Carlos Rogers to stay with them
