Wow, great question!!!
I'm going with Walsh. The guy is money. MONEY. 9 FGs from 50+ including a 56 yarder that would have been good from 70. In Houston.
Kalil and Smith have been outstanding as well. Josh Robinson has been no slouch either.

Really liked just about every single one of our rookies this year. They all brought something positive to the table even if they didn't get a ton of playing time. It's gotta be Blair Walsh. Coming in, he was probably the biggest question mark for our special teams unit, and he more than delivered! I mean, cmon...he broke a fairly significant record his rookie season! He's destroying the ball too! He could kick it from 60-some yards if he needed to! My vote goes to Walsh!

I don't think any one of the Viking rookies will make the Pro Bowl this year, unless it's as an alternate fill-in for the inevitable drop outs. Of the three, I think only Kalil and Walsh have a chance to sneak in as alternates.

I was not imagining that they would be starters but so far Kalil is one of the top vote getters. How do you leave Walsh off of the team? Smith could sneak in but he is the most unlikely.

I don't know, maybe I've got the purple shades on here, but you'd be hard pressed to show me a Kicker in the NFC, let alone the NFL, that's been better than Walsh.

Really? Name one kicker who is more consistent and impressive than Walsh. He is 2nd in FGs made, 6th in %FGM (although he has more attempts than any kicker above him), and 9-9 for FGM for 50+ yards.
Unfortunately, I think the Pro-bowl voting already ended. But right now, I would take Walsh over ANY kicker in the NFL.

Youre kidding ? Matt Kalil is the top vote getter right now at LT for the NFC? With Walsh breaking the record you gotta believe he is probably going to be the NFC's Kicker, Smith is kind of a gut shot for Pro Bowl but has been playing like an All Star.

It would be hard not to give it to Kalil even though Walsh and Smith have been every bit as impressive at their respective positions.

My vote goes to smith, but for real it's so damn close that we should all be incredibly happy to have such a hard decision to make!

What a great question ... and an impossible call.
Blair has been absolutely magnificent. Kalil has changed the face of the offensive line. And Smith has made everyone on defense better.
Too tough to call for me. They're all excellent, heading up one of the better drafts by the Vikings in a long time.

The 2013 Pro Bowl rosters were just announced. Blair Walsh made it.
Adrian Peterson
Jerome Felton
Jared Allen
Blair Walsh

my vote is for Walsh. He is money all the time. Not saying that Kalil and Smith aren't, but we all knew that those two would be. Who knew that Walsh would be as good as he has been? I sure didn't.

I'm glad to see Felton made it. He's been outstanding.

It's close, but I have to go Walsh, not just the FGs, but the field position he gives the opponent. The lack of returnable kicks. All three have been valuable, and the last time they had a young franchise safety, Joey Browner probably. I just hope all 3 continue to ascend, and anchor this team for many years.
With the way he's playing lately, Wright seems to be a nice player too. Very good draft, but I still wouldn't draft a lineman that high, but missing out on RG3, will hurt for years.

They never had a shot at RGIII without making a trade. He was selected before they picked.
