Ah man you stole my pick haha. Could you imagine Harrison Smith and Browner on the field at the same time?
I understand the Moss want, but considering we have a QB that wouldn't be able to get him the ball deep I think we'd be seeing old Randy go into quit mode early and often, so no thanks. Cris Carter would probably be a better choice if we're stuck with Ponder because he could turn bad passes into receptions and FD/TD's.
Having said that, we probably need a QB most. Do all those stop gap QB's count as "all time" Vikings? I would want '09 Favre and if not him I thought Culpepper was fun to watch before he turned into a turnover machine. I don't think Tarkenton could handle the speed of modern day defenses.

I would put an all-time all-star group of Viking defensive lineman against any other teams. I am sure that there are some Ram fans that would disagree and could make a good argument.
Marshall, Page, Eller, Millard, Doleman, K. Williams, Jarred Allen, John Randall all make up a pretty formidable group.
Do not mistake KINDNESS for WEAKNESS!
Best to keep your mouth shut and be thought a fool rather than open it and remove all doubt.
Right now I would take Tarkenton. Even with the group we have now at WR he would make them look decent. The guy could read defenses like nobody's business and he refused to give up on a play. You wouldn't dare eight or nine in a box with him behind center. He would destroy you. With him and AD, playoffs without a doubt. Perhaps even a Superbowl!
Moss in his prime is the obvious answer for me, given the inadequacies of this team at wide receiver. My concern would be whether Ponder could actually throw it far enough.
But if I couldn't have Moss, I would take the 2009 version of Sidney Rice. Not nearly as fast as Moss, but better in the short-to-intermediate routes, and more willing to catch the ball over the middle. Plus, I've never seen anybody go get the football better than that man did in '09. Not even Moss in his prime was BETTER (and remember, Rice is my 1(a) pick). Let's face it ... Favre had a lot of throw-it-up-and-let-Sidney-get-it completions in '09.
Either guy would make Christian Ponder a far better quarterback and actually get that eighth man out of the box for AP.
Biggest upgrade would be a real QB... any of these would be better than the scarecrow we have now:
Joe Kapp
Fran Tarkenton
Tommy Kramer
Steve Dils
Wade Wilson
Rich Gannon
Sean Salisbury
Archie Manning
Jim McMahon
Warren Moon
Brad Johnson
Randall Cunningham
Jeff George
Daunte Culpepper
Todd Bouman
Gus Frerotte
Kelly Holcomb
Brooks Bollinger
Brett Favre
I only left a handful of Vikings starters off the list.
