would like too see him get a few hits in preseason just so he wont worry or think about it. i doubt it however. they will probably keep him on pup list which may be the best way to go anyways just to be safe.

I mentioned in another thread that I don't see the point of him being on the PUP list. I saw one writer speculating that they'll most likely activate him during training camp, probably after the first or second preseason game. If that's the case, I can only imagine he's on the PUP to keep him from practicing, although I don't understand why they can't simply tell him: You are not participating in any practice drills. You keeping doing your rehab drills with the trainer over on the sidelines.

Peterson feels like he can recover from his knee injury much like he did his shoulder injury, and come back a stronger player.

"I know that I'll be more aggressive coming off of this," he said. "Making sure that when guys try and go low on my leg, I'm going to be trying to run those guys over to keep them off my legs."

On a more important subject, Frazier said Sunday that he didn't know if running back Adrian Peterson will play Week 1 against Jacksonville.

"We're going to see how he does this week in practice," Frazier said of his star, recovering from torn knee ligaments suffered last December. "He's done a great job in his rehab all the way through. He's champing at the bit to play, as you can imagine. He wants to play in this first game but we'll see how he does this week and then we'll make a decision later this week.

"We won't take any chances with [Peterson]. When we put him out there, it will be because our doctors, our medical staff and our coaches feel like he's ready to go."

I'm betting they don't have a total of 10 carries between the two of them. Peterson is unlikely to play, and MJD is rusty and it's still unknow if he'll play, either.

I AP doesn't end up in a similar situation to Cedric Griffen.

My thoughts exactly. I'd absolutely hate to see that happen.

I would love to see him play, mainly because I will be there. Hopefully whenever he plays he will be healthy and as dynamic as before!
