Yeah, in what other professional sport do players have to take anonymous drug and steroids tests just to see if there is a problem when everyone with half a brain knows there is a problem? How "hey Bud, let's party" Selig still has a job is beyond me. He basically allowed Major League Baseball to become an illegal racket for drugged players.

The anonymous test was for 1 year, 6 years ago. Yes, it was completely moronic then, but that's not how they do it now and hasn't been for years.

Manny Ramirez gets a 50 game suspension in 2009 for HGC.
Less than 1/3 of the season for a major violation? Olympic athletes get a two year ban for an offense like that. So do professional bicyclists.
Major League Baseball is a league for cheaters and salary ringers. But New York and Los Angeles are the largest markets, so it is all right.

NFL does 4 games, 25%. NBA does 10, 12%. NHL does 20 games, 24%. MLB's 50 is 31%. That's the most of the US major sports.

I'm just frustrated with the fact that all the cheaters from before not only got away with it, but prospered because of it.
Hopefully the HoF voters do something to fix it...

McGuire and Sosa aren't in the HOF so hopefully it stays that way.

What is right is not always convenient. It is cheating. To allow cheating is wrong. Without tough testing and punishment, players, like Ramirez, will continue to do it.
