Oops. I guess Rob and big wouldn't be a sitcom but it is the same theme song as "The courtship of eddie's father." Rob and Big is more recent in my memory so I thought of that first.

gotta love the version that Dave Chappell sings on his show with John Mayer.

"Fish don't fry in the kitchen, beans don't burn on the grill.
Took a whole lotta tryin, just to get up that hill.
Now we're up in the big leagues, gettin' my turn at bat.
As long as we live, it's you and me baby, ain't nothin' wrong with that."

The Unknown Stunt Man from The Fall Guy

I always liked the twist of that theme ... and I've been seen with Farrah!

Here's one that doesn't have words:

Dah da da dum
Dah da da dum

Duh da da dum
Duh da da dum

Dah da da dum
Dah da da dum

Duh da da dum
Duh da da dum

Woo wah waaaah
Woooooo waaaah

Woo woo woo woo
Woo wah waaaah

That is a simplified version, but many of you should be able to figure it out.

Hint: Pink Floyd would often use this theme as part of the solo when playing One of These Days live.

OK, I actually wasn't that far off base if I'm humming it right now.

I'm thinking it has to be the theme from Dr. Who. (OK, now I know I'm right, I just googled the pink floyd angle)

Early to rise, early to bed.
In and between I cooked and cleaned and went out of my head.
Going through life with blinders on, it's tough to see.
I had to get up, get out from under and look for me.

Wow, I can't believe this has stumped for over a day. OK, here's a clue

Ran for 9 seasons from 1976-1985.

The town that the 'new girl' is in is Phoenix AZ.

Oh, duh. I think I figured it out now...

"Lady Godiva was a freedom rider, she didn't care if the whole world looked.
Joan of Arc with the Lord to guide her, she was a sister who really cooked.
Isadora was the first bra burner, ain't you glad she showed up.
And though the country was falling apart Betsy Ross got it all sewed up."

Hey, I resemble that remark.

Seriously, how old does one have to be to be 'old' ???
