That picture did nothing but reinforce my belief that she is the overhyped, super model body, completely average face. But that's jmo.Hunter Morrow wrote: That's the beer goggles talking.

Let's be honest. If you bumped into her doppelganger at the bar dressed in "normal" girl "going out clothes" and she showed interest in you. Not only would you take her home. You would brag to everyone forever and always about her. She is gorgeous when she is smiling and living. Not when she has that "I am sorta ODing but I am over it" supermodel look on her face.

Shoot I would, I would video it and send it to Tom Brady, as well....Let's be honest. I just want to say for the record, I have read else where that this "just shows the integrity of the NFL", I damn near died laughing. This coming from a league where we watch the same teams get away with murder at the line over and over with no flags and seemingly ref managed games that strange flags that no one else agrees with even in the both and even Mike Pereira had said that touchdown will stand or interception will and then down comes the frontrunner hammer. How many times has a flag cost the Vikes a game against people like the saints, packers or bears (or the neglect of getting one themselves).
Anyhow on subject. They need to ban a bunch more QB's then because from what I have been told this isn't uncommon amongst them.

My guide to being a Vikings fan:

No curves with an average face is just so so to me. Maybe I just don't buy into the shapeless anorexic crap that people like these days, idk. I'm trying to not sound like some dumb internet guy criticizing the looks of a super model, but she just seems so.. Average.

Every single team cries foul when comes to stuff such as holding and off sides, everybody loves to feel like their team is being screwed, but very rarely is this a valid concern in anyway, every single fan base things the opposing team gets away with holds and presnap movement, it is just silly to bring something as subjective as this up as a league concern. But, now that you mention, I'm curious as to how many games the Vikes lost to the Packers or Bears due to the lack of calls by the refs, in your opinion.Skoltastic_Voyage wrote:I just want to say for the record, I have read else where that this "just shows the integrity of the NFL", I damn near died laughing. I don't know where you heard that only winning SBs with cheating scandals, and tampering with the centered of the game was commonly done by QBs, but you heard wrong.

You mean there are other teams that deflate the footballs after the officials check them?Skoltastic_Voyage wrote:I just want to say for the record, I have read else where that this "just shows the integrity of the NFL", I damn near died laughing. You are not alone. There is something very strange about that body type being hailed as beautiful. Its actually a pretty fascinating phenomenon.Jordysghost wrote:No curves with an average face is just so so to me. While I agree with your take on the supermodel (whom I just don't find that attractive either), I think you are blind to the way your own team gets favorable calls from league officials. It doesn't happen with any kind of regularity when we play the Bears or the Lions or any other team. I believe against most teams we get as many favorable as unfavorable calls. However, we pretty regularly get hosed against your NFL darling franchise, which is why I find it interesting that you seem so wound up about the Patriots situation. It actually makes a lot of sense: we typically condemn in others the very things that we most fear to be true about our selves. You have been a really civil poster (for a Packer fan) so I don't want to come down on you hard on this point, but this is my honest impression.Jordysghost wrote: Every single team cries foul when comes to stuff such as holding and off sides, everybody loves to feel like their team is being screwed, but very rarely is this a valid concern in anyway, every single fan base things the opposing team gets away with holds and presnap movement, it is just silly to bring something as subjective as this up as a league concern. That might be your impression but the stats don't show that Greenbay gets more calls overall than the Vikings. According to this site (which I just found and am not sure if it's right) the Vikings were the beneficiary of penalties on average more than the Packers. Vikings had 7 penalties called against the other team last year on average. The packers had 6.5 on average.Texas Vike wrote: While I agree with your take on the supermodel (whom I just don't find that attractive either), I think you are blind to the way your own team gets favorable calls from league officials. P.S. As someone who has been posting here a long time ... Jordy is more civil than many Vikings fans I've encountered lolCliff wrote: That might be your impression but the stats don't show that Greenbay gets more calls overall than the Vikings. Which is why I stated as much. I hope I didn't come off as overly aggressive with my post, that was not my intention. He's a civil poster and quite diplomatic , though given that he is treading in enemy territory, he needs to be, I suppose.Cliff wrote: P.S. As someone who has been posting here a long time ... Regarding the stat you cited: leaving aside the issue of its dubiousness, most importantly, it does not address my point. I don't know if the Pack always gets favorable calls (they got hosed against the Seahawks with the "fail Mary" for example), but they appear to me to get very favorable calls against the Vikings. The only measurement I'd want to see would be in match ups between our two teams. Perhaps I am imagining this or my OWN bias (and hate for the Pack) makes it appear this way. I'd like to know if others feel similarly.

I don't notice any referee bias towards teams, but star QBs get handled with kids gloves.
