Good to hear. I'm really looking forward to see Jarius Wright play this Sunday.

3 Jerome Felton is quickly earning the trust of the coaching staff.

The fifth-year fullback saw extensive action in the season opener and handled himself well in his Vikings debut, clearing a path for Adrian Peterson on several big runs and holding up well in pass protection. Felton's heightened role -- he was in on 32 of the Vikings' 58 offensive snaps -- wasn't necessarily part of the game plan.

"A lot of it had to do with the way he played and what's happening when he is on the field," coach Leslie Frazier said. "It was really encouraging for all of us to see him dominate the way he did."

Don't be surprised if Felton gets plenty of action again Sunday.

John Sullivan is not practicing today because of an ankle issue that limited him on Wednesday. Will have more later.

I believe so. Fusco was a center in college but it's likely they'd keep him in at guard.

Sullivan rests ankle, but is expected to play on Sunday
Center John Sullivan was given a day to rest his injured ankle, but is expected to practice Friday and play in Sunday's game at Indianapolis, coach Leslie Frazier said after practice today.

"He was sore after the game [on Sunday] and was limited [Wednesday], so we felt it would be wise to give him a day to rest," Frazier said.

Cornerback Antoine Winfield also missed practice to attend the funeral of his younger brother, Anthony Travis, who was shot and killed in Akron, Ohio last week. Winfield is expected to practice on Friday.

Meanwhile, cornerback Chris Cook, who was limited on Wednesday because of a biceps injury, had full participation today. Linebacker Marvin Mitchell (ankle), safety Andrew Sendejo (ankle) and receiver Jarius Wright (ankle) all were limited in practice today.

If for some reason Sullivan can't play, he would be replaced by veteran Joe Berger, who filled in capably as a starter at all three interior positions during last season.

Nice to have a competent fullback again. After putting up with "developing" that other clown Childress thought had some sort of future...

Jasper Brinkley staying after practice, working on dropping in coverage. It's a process for him. #Vikings
Marvin Mitchell is only player who's a "little shaky" on ankle still, per Frazier. Sendejo, Sullivan will make it. Wright status undecided

This thread seemed like the best place for this:

http://www.twincities.com/sports/ci_215 ... t-imminent
Cornerback A.J. Jefferson's debut with the Vikings appears imminent.

Jefferson, acquired in a trade from Arizona two weeks ago for an undisclosed draft pick, was sidelined last week while learning the Vikings' scheme.

Well, he's learned the scheme.
Theres a little more at the link but Jefferson could be active this week and if not, I'm guessing he will be against the 49ers.

Adrian Peterson - RB - Vikings

Coach Leslie Frazier said Adrian Peterson (knee) felt "so much better" this Tuesday in comparison to the same point following Week 1.

Peterson continues to show superhuman qualities. While Jamaal Charles is feeling soreness in his surgically-repaired knee and Rashard Mendenhall is just getting back in contact drills, Peterson has taken full workloads in back-to-back weeks and emerged stronger. "We think he's getting to that point where we can think about a few more carries," Frazier said.
