You know me, Cliff, I think a team can ask a lot more from a #2 QB. :) I wish the Vikings would handle their depth chart at that position differently but i won't beat that dead horse today.
That's true, and I do agree. I'm not sure Hill is the answer at #2 the more I think about it. I don't think he can last a whole game without losing even more velocity.

Every time he threw I was sure it would be an INT, but then his wobbly ducks would get pulled down by Rudy for a solid completion. He was pretty accurate last night and I like his calm demeanor. But he looks ancient with his lack of mobility and arm strength.

Brothers and Edmond Robinson, who both saw their share of gap misreads, missed tackles and poor take-on skills against blockers. Both linebackers had their opportunities to wrap up a running back in the hole and missed, and both linebackers were the victims of their own lane discipline issues.

Exum had a poor showing, personal fouls and poor coverage.

Offensive line is a cluster, pass protection was fair and run blocking not so good. Couple times they run into each other.

Shaun Hill he has no Velocity on his passes it's like they are thrown in slow motion. But he had some good completions.
Stave he is either throwing late or throwing into the next county. Is Heinicke back yet???

Mac he started out decent but then had some mistakes...but he is rookie.
Krease ...he can cover a lot of field. But was beat a couple times and looked lost a few others. But again a rookie.
I thought Easton didn't look to bad. But Sirles and Clemmings had bad games....we need some decent tackles.
I didn't see Austin Shepard play. Would have liked to get a better look at him.

Locke needs competition in camp.
What can I say about Walsh...was that an instant reply?

Sherels
4 sacks on Wilson  Rodgers are you paying attention... :beerock:

A win we will take it!!!
On Teddy...Zimmer said it was my decision no further comment. :D

I thought Hill played well. That's a tough defense to go against and he held his own.

Stave is awful. Love his size but he seems clueless out there.

First team defense was pretty nasty. Love Shamar Stephen

Run game worried me on offense. But it'll help getting AD back in there. I was never a big Thielen fan but he's definitely growing on me. Rudolph showed well tonight

I thought that our defense looks very good. They played fast although gave up some big run plays overall played really well... especially our D line. I also would like to see Brothers in instead of greenway on run plays, and Lamur in on passing downs.

I would gladly take Vick over Hill anyday. We know he can move and throw the ball.

Hell! I would take Tebow over Hill RIGHT NOW! As long as his circus didn't follow.

First off, a circus WOULD follow, second off, id rather have Hill any day or the week over Tebow.

Why? What are your reasons? Tebow is 10x the athlete, has a better arm, can run... not just run but run over people, he is a winner, has god on his side.

He is not an NFL QB, he can't throw the ball. You can't have an QB that can't throw for ####. He isn't a 'winner' it took a lot of circumstancial situations for him and his team to pull out the wins they did during Tebow mania.

Look at Hills passing statistics vs Tebow, you know Tebow hasn't been in the league for a couple years right?

Hill can't throw the ball either, he has zero velocity on his passes. I remember Tebow leading game winning drives in the playoffs. Not saying I want Tebow, just saying I would take him over Hill.

And Shaun Hill has NEVER had good passing stats.

No you see he can. Hills ability to throw the ball is much, much greater then Tebows.

Tebow can't, have you seen his release? It is a wonder he ever made it to the NFL, and it is exactly the same reason he hasn't been in the NFL for some years.

I've seen Hill lead clutch 4th quarter drives as well, including one of them ending on a hail mary pass that Tebow couldnt throw in his wildest dreams.

Their on field production says it all.

Compared to Tebow? Yea he has, he dusts Tebow in nearly every category.
