The King mentions JFB serious injuries. "He took a lot of hits in college that left him seriously hurt at times." wtf he hurt his thumb (insignificant) and dinged his shoulder. I am not understanding the serious injury part :?

He injured his throwing shoulder late in a game against Auburn. Which I think is why they lost the game. A portion of the game they had his back-up in and even when Manziel came in, he was somewhat limited. That wasn't a ding. The guy was legit in serious pain but the guy is like Brett Favre mentally. Injured and he will still wants to finish the game.

So he did not sustain any serious injuries as you had stated. I guess I am confused about your definition of a serious injury

Obviously you didn't watch that game then. I'm not going to elaborate any further. I know what I saw. Some players are better at masking injuries than others.

Buuuuttt, If he was, and the other 2 highest rated QB's are off the board - can you really pass on him?

Or greatest need on offense (or probably in general) is a franchise QB. JFB at least HAS A CHANCE to be that guy. If he's there at 8, you would have to take him.

It's not a reach, he's projected to go in that area. He may be a bust, or not, but you have to take that chance. ANY draft pick can be a bust. Look at every top 10 pick made in the last 10 years, and where they are today, and do the math.

You have to take him at #8 ON THE CHANCE he'll become your franchise QB. If he busts out - that's the risk. This wouldn't be a 'Ponder' reach.
From the perspective of an NFL team, I think what they have to do is trust their own evaluations and their own board. If JFB is there at #8 the Vikings should take him IF their scouting and research says he's worth it and they should pass on him if they believe otherwise or if their board tells them there's an even better choice available. I don't think projections and accusations of "reaching" matter at all if a team doesn't think a player is a reach based on their own evaluation. They spend months of time and lots of money to put together their board. They need have faith in their assessments and act accordingly.

I want him in the division, not on our team though. I think even Robinson can get a pick off him. But on the other hand, he could run backwards, and none of our current LBs could chase him down. I hope that Dline can stop the run.

I also want you guys to take a look at this game. I will provide more film from his games I have concerns about in the future. This game one of the most notable games from last season because Texas A&M got their #### beat like a government mule.

Give me your opinions on this clip. And I know ONE game doesn't make him the worst player ever but his footwork and decision making draws some concerns for me. I think this is how things will translate for him in the NFL. Most of these throws did not look like NFL quality throws. He often threw passes up for grasp when pressured, who does that remind us of?????? Joe Webb vs Green Bay wildcard game!!!!!! Put Manziel under pressure and he's a different person.
