I think they were talking about his completion percentage.Raptorman wrote:Well, Bridgewater had 40 pass attempts over 20+ yards for roughly 11%, Rodgers had 48 pass attempts over 20+ yards for about 10%. Luck was 12%, Brees 8% and Payton Manning 9%. 10% is right in line with other QBS. Now, maybe they were talking about his completion percentage which was low for passes over 20+ yards at 32%.
The contract/playing time these guys get won't be enough to net us anything more than a late round pick, at most. And that's if they decide not to sign anyone.frosted wrote: Explain.
Could be completion percentage, but the way it was said seemed to indicate pass attempts vs the league. Here's the verbiage:Raptorman wrote: Well, Bridgewater had 40 pass attempts over 20+ yards for roughly 11%, Rodgers had 48 pass attempts over 20+ yards for about 10%. 7.25 TRADE! Per Adam Schefter, the Dolphins have followed up their trade for Kenny Stills by moving Mike Wallace and his cap number along with a 7th-round pick to Minnesota in exchange for a 5th-rounder. Wallace didn’t quite live up to the sizable contract he signed, posting one of the lowest catch rates on deep passes over the last two seasons (16.7% in 2013 and 25% in 2014) while dropping 15 passes over that span. He did manage to snag 10 touchdowns last season, 7th-best among receivers, but still finished with just a -0.9 overall grade (+1.4 receiving). An interesting move for the Vikings to add a potential deep threat for Teddy Bridgewater, who ventured more than 20 yards down field on just 10.2% of his pass attempts last season, one of the lowest rates in the league.
- Jerome Felton signed a 4 year / $9,200,000 contract with the Buffalo Bills, including a $2,600,000 signing bonus, $3,600,000 guaranteed, and an annual average salary of $2,300,000.Demi wrote:The contract/playing time these guys get won't be enough to net us anything more than a late round pick, at most. There have been better years to worry about comp picks. And they didn't seem too concerned. Not signing free agents to get a 7th round pick or two from these guys wouldn't be worth the effort.
#Bengals CB Terence Newman, who visited the #Vikings yesterday, is headed to New England for a #Patriots visit today, source says.
Sources confirm Monday that Michigan State star cornerback Trae Waynes will take a visit to the #Vikings.
According to this source, the Vikings would be lucky to get one seventh-rounderS197 wrote:Did the Vikings get a compensatory pick this year? Trying to think who the main players would be and I'm assuming it's Jared Allen and Gerhart vs Joseph and Munnerlyn.
They won't be getting one this year, we didn't have a net loss of UFAs last year. I think we signed five an lost five and you could cancel each one we lost out with a similar contract of one we signed.dead_poet wrote: According to this source, the Vikings would be lucky to get one seventh-rounder

@VikingsPR: The #Vikings have re-signed T Mike Harris. Harris started 5-of-12 games for the Vikings in 2014.

@christomasson Just talked to Mike Harris. He says it's a one-year contract for the tender amount of $1.542 million. Mike Harris on his contract: "I'm very happy with it. It shows the Vikings really believe in me.' Mike Harris really believes can compete to start at left guard "The job's open & I'm going to compete for whatever I can get I want to start'
I like his attitude.dead_poet wrote:
