Did he even do anything in Miami? He only did well with Big Ben, and thats cause Ben had time to each a sandwich while he was behind the line waiting for someone to free up. Teddy wont have that time unless some HUGE changes are coming.

As much as you may hate this deal, wallace is the best wr on the vikings by far now. And i dont get why you think we would get rid of 3 receivers just because we signed wallace?

This could mean jennings is gone, but we sure as hell wont be getting rid of patterson, not unless a ridiculous trade is offered for him.

We just got a wr in wallace for basically a 6th rd pick. On top of that, every season since 2010 he has been more productive than any viking's receiver were this last year. Over 860 yards last year, 10 touchdowns and over 60 receptions.

-Over 1k yards in both 2010 and 2011
-Atleast 800 yards per season since then..
-Last vikings wide receiver to match wallace's worst yards in a season since 2010(836 in 2012) = Percy in 2011 had 967 receiving yards

Whoa, bro! I was with you until you said Tannehill has a noodle arm. That's so far from the truth. He can really spin it. His problem in regards to the deep ball was touch. He really struggled with it. Tannehill has a rocket for an arm though.

Mike Wallace was just never a good fit for Miami and with Tannehill at Q. Wallace is a perfect for a QB like Teddy and as a complement to a Charles Johnson.

Teddy was almost 10% more accurate with his deep ball last year than Tannehill was. Tannehill had a deep pass completion percentage of like 38%. Teddy was over 46%. And Teddy wqs a rookie.

I found that part really interesting because i thought tannehill would have been better on his deep ball than teddy

Now he's here and the contract isn't an issue anymore for the same people that said he was being paid too much. And that is AFTER not living up to it in Miami, and having other issues.

I didn't see anyone say they were alright with him being paid what he was paid in miami, i believe everyone here expects Wallace to restructure.

And yes, I do believe our coaching staff is that much better when it comes to players with histories. Zimmer has established a track record of being able to turn troubled players into solid producers/contributors, a lá Burfict.

Zimmer wont put up with Wallace's BS, and if Wallace wants to act like an idiot on this team, I have no doubt he will be shown the door.

And lets stop acting like Wallace didn't produce last year sh@% sake, he had a better season than any of our receiver have had since Percy Harvin!!

It's just crazy how much of an issue it was back then to even think it might be possible that members could be influenced through their conversations with one another and be exposed to differing ideas and thoughts on a subject, and then another entity raised the Notion of "What if, the possibility existed that through the experience of these types of exchanges mixed with a constant flow of information a member could evolve through a process of learning, witness and suggestion and gain the ability or courage to change one's prior view point, idea or thoughts about a specific subject based on said experience of social interaction! ........??

Jasper Brinkley, the Vikings’ starting middle linebacker in 2014, agreed to terms with the Cowboys, according to a league source. Brinkley did a solid job against the run, finishing with 74 tackles. But because of his limitations in pass coverage, Brinkley played only 42.5 percent of the defensive snaps. The Vikings now must find a new middle linebacker, though chances are they already were looking for one, which is why Brinkley was allowed to walk.

Coach Mike Zimmer said that the free-agent class was underwhelming, but a few intriguing ones are out there. Rolando McClain remains unsigned, but he’s an enigma who un-retired and has past legal issues. Brandon Spikes is a two-down thumper like Brinkley, but he, too, has trouble keeping up in coverage. Mason Foster, Nate Irving and D.J. Williams also are unsigned.

The Vikings could opt to address middle linebacker in the draft — they have been eyeing prospects such as Denzel Perryman, Benardrick McKinney and Stephone Anthony — or give a longer look to Audie Cole, who opened eyes with 14 tackles in the season finale.

Note that Johnson said had it not been for Zimmer he wouldn't have even wanted to visit. He has lots of friends in Cincy. I'm guessing he re-signs there.

I was really, really, really hoping this team was going to find an upgrade to Brian Robison. Graham, Morgan, Sheard, and Johnson were all viable options and now they are off the market.
