Now that we have a criminal case against a current Viking player Jordan Adisson I thought revisiting this thread would be beneficial in evaluating how the league and the Vikings should proceed. I fully believe in innocent until proven guilty, but if Jordan Adisson had his blood alcohol tested appropriately and it came back over the limit there can be little doubt of his guilt.
Jeff Gladney was accused of domestic violence and found guilty in the court of public opinion. The Vikings released him as it was the expedient thing to do. He was found not guilty of the charges yet many consider him guilty simply due to his being charged. That could be true. He may have been guilty of something, but when society and employers can simply ignore not guilty it sets a bad precedent. He was able to find employment after the not guilty verdict but never played again due to dying in an automobile accident. Here's a link to an article about his death and showing how highly many people thought of him.

I'm 100% in favor of Jordan Adisson receiving consequences for his actions by a jury of his peers in a court of law. Assuming Jordan is guilty I hope he pleads that way and a wise judge determines consequences that will help him rehabilitate and keep the public as safe as possible from him repeating such actions. As in the Gladney thread I'm not in favor of the NFL or the Vikings handing out the consequences.
