It looks like Fusco will be the opening day starter at RG and...
Frazier said McLeod Bethel-Thompson will get "a majority" of the playing time as the Vikings continue to evaluate their No. 3 quarterback spot.
"You never know. The door's not shut," Frazier said. "You'd like to see how (Bethel-Thompson) does. He's done a good job in practices from the time we had him back in the spring through the preseason, but we'd like to see how he does again in a game situation."
There's also some more good news about Peterson:
Peterson responds well
One day after taking contact in practice for the first time since undergoing left knee reconstruction on Dec. 30, halfback Adrian Peterson practiced again and felt no ill effects, Frazier said.
"He felt pretty good," Frazier said. "He woke up (Tuesday) morning, felt pretty good about it, was glad he had a chance to experience a little contact. But no worse for the wear. He felt pretty good, so that was encouraging."

The regular season opener is in 12 days. That statement is so walking-on-eggshells tentative that it sounds like Peterson is still a long way from playing in a football game.

That's a possibility. I think they're just taking it one step at a time and consequently, there's no way to make a more assertive statement. He's done what he's done and it's all gone pretty well so far. They clearly don't want to rush him but who knows, if he starts cutting with no ill effects and if he continues to take contact in practice with no setbacks he might not be far from playing in a football game. If we see Peterson play in week 1, I'm guessing he'll play pretty sparingly. He might just get a token start and a few carries or something but again who knows?
Source confirms @RavensInsider's report the #Vikings recently worked out 6-foot-5 ex-Liberty/Bears WR Chris Summers.
Tom Pelissero on Twitter
Summers, 23, is a big body (6-foot-5, 213 pounds) and had 188 catches for 2,712 yards (14.4 average) and 26 touchdowns in four seasons at Liberty. He had three receptions, including gains of 28 and 24 yards, in the Bears' first two preseason games before he was cut.

LOL! I just started a thread with the same news, apparently while you were posting the info above. I figured maybe the thread could serve as a place to discuss some of the other WRs the Vikes will almost inevitably end up taking a look at as teams continue cutting down to their final rosters. I definitely don't believe some of the WRs currently on the Vikes should feel too secure even if they make it to the 53 man roster.
Regular ankle sprains for Mitchell and Wright, per Frazier. DeMarcus Love aggravated his shoulder/pec thing. That's not good. #Vikings
I think I could tell when it happened to Love. He started the game strong and continually impresses me when healthy. The talent level at tackle goes down significantly after him.

“@Johnny_Curtis: @TomPelissero Carlson has been practicing, but is he a going to play this sunday?” He says he expects to, yes.

Frazier says Raymond and Robinson should be good to go Sunday. Of the guys who sat today, Marvin Mitchell is most in jeopardy. #Vikings

I saw that. Very unfortunate. I think highly of Love's ability. It's a shame his career has already seen so many injuries. I had confidence in him as a backup tackle (honestly, our only backup tackle I felt even slightly okay with...other than Schwartz now I suppose). I hope he can bounce back and have a great season next year.

Frazier says of the four players with ankle injuries, only Sherels will get reps today. No Wright, Mitchell, Sendejo. #Vikings
Vikings are going to evaluate Mistral Raymond heavily this week. Sure sounds like he will start if they think he is ready.
Frazier confirms #Vikings will put Adrian Peterson thru a heavier contact practice today. Still won't let him get hit below waist or tackled. Again, to clarify, Frazier saying no limitations on hitting Peterson means he'll be treated like everyone else. Still no shots to legs.
Frazier says Josh Robinson is in mix for no. 3 CB this week but need to evaluate in practice this week. Still learning about AJ.

Other fun locker room notes today: Suspended WR Jerome Simpson is already getting a bit stir crazy. Forced to work out alone. Simpson: "It is [lonely]. You have to make conversation w strength and conditioning guys. Sometimes they can be a little weird."
Simpson also can't catch passes from any teammates for next 3 wks. "But I can have a neighbor." Simpson is scouting his neighborhood now "Kids out there who want to throw me a couple of passes, they've got the opportunity now."

They seemed to really like the way he performed against Buffalo after a rough game at SF. Even though the Vikings haven't come right out and said so, I get the feeling the second safety position is Raymond's to lose at this point.

How much fun would that be for a local kid? "Hey Mom, can I go outside and play football with Vikings WR Jerome Simpson?"
