That's what I thought at first but after seeing his teammates carry him off and he saying "9 what?" Makes me think he thought he had it. He's a humble guy but I seriously doubt he was oblivious that he was close.

WOW what a game! I could see that being the game of the year even, and I can't complain one bit about how it finished!

Give MVP to Peterson or else this is just the Best Quarterback of the Year award.

You can't screw Tomlinson, Johnson and Peterson like that and act like this award has credibility. Imagine the Vikings without Peterson.
