Cool! I would have been there if it had been in the budget. I love London. The only thing that could make it better would be going there and seeing a Vikes win.

I saw that guy and had to wonder who payed for his ticket. either the Vikes or Goodell and Co. IMO

No, I'm pretty sure he foots the bill himself. If I remember right, he's from Thunder Bay, Ontario (which is on Lake Superior about an hour North of the MN border) and makes the 6 hour drive to the Dome on Sundays. Really cool guy too.

Yupp. I saw Syd Davey at the game on television. Wasn't he declared the Vikings Super Fan back in the day when the NFL used to do those competitions? Syd is an 'icon' for Minnesota. I would not be surprised if the team at least puts in position to get front row tickets for all the Viking games.

I don't know what game you were watching but our O-line looked pretty solid with Cassel back there. Crazy how you put a QB back there that can read a defense and make quick decisive throws can suddenly make your O-line look pretty darn good. The O-line looks bad with Ponder because he holds the ball too long for our offensive scheme. Cassel sacked just once (when he tried to run), and the fumble resulted in a first down. Good creative call Muskrat xD. And AD averaged 6.1 YPC. How was the O-line bad again?

The defense though? Yeah go ahead and rip them all you want. There's no defending them. QB's have thrown for 357, 292, 321, and now 383. That's 338 per game, a record shattering pace. Anyone still want to defend our cover 0 scheme? I forget, does the cover 2 mean leave the middle of the field wide open the entire game?

Maybe they do. Who knows? But the impression I got is that he was just an ultra die hard fan. He looks like he could be an official part of the team--an undercover cheer leader in the stands. I remember when Moss jumped up into the stands after a TD. He looked for this guy specifically. He's a legend.

This defense really bothers me. They're pretty much make or break. They have playmakers that step up every now and then, but overall they have a crap ton of mediocrity in between that makes them look horrendous at times.

I know it may not necessarily be a huge difference, but they were 2 starters down today. I've seen enough of Josh robinson though.

Who was out? Cook and Jamarca Sanford? Will they be back after the bye? Can we sign Antoine in the next two weeks? Robinson had a rough game today. He played OK at times, but got burned bad and looked lost too many times.

It wasn't just today, it's been about every game so far. He's constantly getting picked on by the other team. Must be viewed as the weakest corner

Yeah, I don't usually get to watch in HD, much less w/ a clear and consistent stream... so today it was obvious to me, in hIgh def. Robinson is struggling to fill in the spot that Toine left vacant.

Yeah. The thing with our secondary is that I can see them getting better. Still fairly high on Cook and like what I see from Rhodes. The need to scrap the "only nickel sets" and let the man play because he's a baller.

LB group is just something we have to live with though. I doubt they improve much as a unit. Thankfully, even though Chad has lost a step or two, he still has a nose for the football and makes plays.

If we in our next game and the season isn't gone, maybe a couple calls will be made to Winfield?
