Re: Dream Offseason Signings and Cuts
I like the signings. I left Payne off as I felt we would be bargain basement shopping to support a JJ extension. Honestly, it's taboo but I would trade JJ for 2 firsts. I just don't believe in paying a WR that kind of money. Payne is probably going to get 14 million. I rather have 2 Payne level ...

Re: Let's Make Another Hockenson-Type Trade!
Zadarius stays based on whoever the new DC is. I am assuming it will be Flores and I think he is a 3-4 guy. Not that knowledgeable of him besides that he runs an aggressive blitz-heavy scheme.
The only thing with Zadarius though, he saves over $12 million in cap space. Saves more than any ...

Re: Let's Make Another Hockenson-Type Trade!
I think it all depends on how Payton values and views Jeudy. My gut says that he's pretty high on him and therefore would not be too keen on parting with him. With Jevonte's injury, MAYBE you could offer Dalvin for Jeudy, but I doubt they would do that deal.
Yeah this is what I'm trying to ...

Dream Offseason Signings and Cuts
Signings
A'shawn Robinson - 28 (season start) - Rams - Cheap inexpensive signing to be a starter for our defense. Big body athlete with a CHampionship pedigree (college and pros). It would Improve our Run defense tremendously.
Contract 4 years 24 million.

Re: Let's Make Another Hockenson-Type Trade!
So as I'm working on my mock offseason, I'm really looking into making another big trade and the idea I have I've became obsessed with. I'm not sure who or what we would give up yet but I think trading for Broncos WR Jerry Jeudy would be a massive pickup for this team. To me, Jeudy is a perfect ...

Re: Donatel needs the axe
That stiff for the Jets can't get the ball out quickly. We had zero pressure on him and he stood there and tore this junk scheme up. The following week he played like the bum he is. They pressured and sacked him 4 times. Our best front line D players Hunter and Tomlinson are 4-3 guys and played ...

Re: Donatel needs the axe
Pat P is playing at the same level as he did last year. He was good/ had some lapses in coverage and got beat sometimes. What has changed is that the middle of the defense is wide open and there is no reason to challenge Pat P when

Re: Donatel needs the axe
It didn't take 3 years for Zimmer's scheme to come together. We had a paltry offense and that hurt the defense as well. When our offense took off in 2017, the defense was allowed to shine.
As to you other question as to why we should wait. Zimmer was known to be a defensive guru. Donatell is ...

Re: Donatel needs the axe
I disagree on Dantzler. He wasnt good against Detroit but also didnt look like himself or look like he was back in game shape. All I know is, he was the highest graded rookie corner in 2020, last year he was the 19th highest graded corner and #1 in run defense. His first two years, he was ...

Re: The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly after 6 weeks
Bad
Lulls. In every game, we’ve had periods where we do nothing. The Packers game was a blowout, but could’ve been even moreso. The Bears and Saints games should’ve been blowouts. We started very slowly against Miami. What can KOC to to minimize these down periods?
What kind of bourbon in ...

The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly after 6 weeks
We really are going to be tested soon. I think we are an average team and the next 6 weeks will expose us. I think we can be explosive but we haven't. Our defense is atrocious but opportunistic.

You are way too high on our roster.StumpHunter wrote: ↑Fri Oct 21, 2022 12:27 pm The Vikings can't afford to add anyone and there isn't really anyone available who is a significant upgrade at their positions of need: Guard, QB and CB.

Re: Draft Day Question #2
I think landing at 29th and 30th puts us outside of the Game Changers in this draft. We would likely have to piviot and draft individuals that are not our key positions of needs. Best case scenario we end up with Elam and Travis Jones.

Re: Watson to Cleveland
One thing to consider.
Most of us would be willing to give up 1 first rounders to draft a young talented QB that could eventually turn into Watson's level of play. I don't think 3 firsts for him is a terrible haul. Logically, 1st would be spent if you were in a position for draft the player, So you ...
